Eugenio Salvador Dalí

was a great exponents on the art´s world
Salvador Dalí was born in figueroa, spain on may 11th of 1904.
He had a broad social life, as in his academic life, he met from poets as garcia lorca to psycoanalysts as sigmund freud.

Dali and Garcia Lorca had their particular "brokeback montain" in the spain of the 20s, they met on 1992 on a students residence in madrid. That was a good love story but it was never accomplished, because although Lorca was sure of what he felt for his friend, but Dali never accepted his homosexuality.Lorca and Dali maintained a close art and personal relationship, but in 1928 they finished their comunication.
Dali and Disney created a short film called "Destino", which was never finished, years later, disney´s nephew and dali´s apprentice finished that short film.

* Daniel  Felipe Osorio Marin
Joel-Peter Witkin

This photographer shows other forms of the live such as deformations of the man, cases than other don’t do
He is an American photographer. His work often deals with such themes as death, corpses (and sometimes dismembered portions thereof), and various outsiders such as dwarfs, transsexuals, hermaphrodites, and physically deformed people
Is his darkly imaginative photography an intellectually camouflaged freak show or high art?
In the world theses photographer don’t appearce because its seems to be few important in the world in that we live.

* Valentina Restropo Tabares

  1. Nicoletta ceccoli
  2. is an italian artist better known for being extremely retailer and for her dreamy art. She has ilustrated a bunch of books and her last publication is The Girl in the Castle Inside the Museum.

the elegance in her art is impressive and it can be appreciated in each one of her ilustrations, with ephemeral and fragil shapes and silhouettes, all of them full of ilusion and fantasy.
Nicoletta was awarded with the Andersen award as the best italian illustrator, four time winner of "Excellence Award" of communication arts and received a silver medal from the Society of Illustrator (New York)

DISNEY, DALÍ AND THE FILM LOST

In 1946, Walt Disney and Salvador Dalí created the animated short, Destino. Because of misunderstandings between the film it, was left unfinished, but now a team rebuilt the legendary Disney project, which was seen last october at the Film Festival in New York.

In 1937, Dalí wrote to André Breton about their journey to California: "I came to Hollywood and got in touch with the big three American Surrealist bastions: the Marx brothers, Cecil B. DeMille and Walt Disney".

In a partu at the home of the producer Jack Warner in 1945, Disney and Dalí met again the following year, embarked on one of the most unlikely artistic collaborations of the twentieth century: the creator of Mickey Mouse and the painter of dreamlike images joined forces to create the cartoon Destino.

Dalí told the press, that would be "a magic show of the problem of like in the labyrinth of time". Nervously, Disney translated, calling it "just the simple story of a girl searching for her true love". For eight months they worked together, until Disney, citing financial problems due to the war, abandoned the project.

In the 57 years since then, the unfinished animated cartoon has acquired the reputation of a lost materpiece: Target has become a short animation  bordering on legendary. but it is not lost: last October, during the Film Festival in New York, the legend of six and a half minutes finally premiered in the U.S.

The animated short has been reconstructed from paintings and drawings by Dalí by a new generation of filmmakers coordinated by Disney`s nephew, Roy, vice president of the Walt Disney Company, and for which Dalí`s assistant on the original project John Hench, now 95 years old.
